• 8:30am - Registration Opens

• 9:00am - Welcome & Introductions

• 9:15am - Serving the Community

• Noon - Lunch (prepared box lunches) & Fellowship

What To Bring

Personal Gear:

• Wear Work Clothes/Shoes

• Work Gloves

• Masks

• Water Bottles (additional will be available)

• Sunscreen

• Chair (if desired for lunch)

Tools:

Please bring for your use if you have these items and for others to share.

Please mark your tools with your name so we can return them to you if they are separated from you.

• Rakes (leaf and metal rakes)

• Weed Eaters (gas powered)

• Weeding and Gardening Tools

• Hand Held Blowers

• Loppers/Garden Shears

• Shovels (garden spades)

• Wheelbarrow

• Tarps

Planned Projects

• Painting for neighborhood seniors

• Continue clearing overgrown bushes next to playground at Wesley Center

• Clean up and beautify high visibility neighborhood streets/yards

Frequently Asked Questions

What if it rains?

We will plan to serve even in the event of light showers. However, in the event of heavy rains, you will be contacted by email early Saturday morning, and the event will be postponed one week, until June 25th.

Where should I park?

Since parking is limited, please plan to carpool if possible. Parking at Wesley Center/On Hale Street is available.

What if I don’t have any tools to bring?

Please come even if you do not have tools or personal gear to bring. We have arranged for plenty of tools and PPE to be available.

Can children participate?

The event is a family-friendly event and supervised children are welcome to join us in this day of service.
