Burnet Avenue Redevelopment Plan
Uptown Consortium, Inc. is collaborating with Steiner + Associates on the redevelopment of Burnet Avenue into a vibrant mixed-use district. The project includes multi-family residential, condominiums for sale, affordable housing, hotel, short-term rentals, office and retail. The aim is to enhance the community vision and spirit in Avondale by linking the significant development and construction activities to the south with the established community to the north. This section of Burnet Avenue is vital for the growth and vitality of the neighborhood, bringing new amenities to support current residents and businesses, while also attracting new residents.
Community Impact & Support
The proposed development aligns with the BART plan, QOL plan and community priorities. It will introduce new housing and commercial opportunities in Avondale, along with job creation. UCI is partnering with ADC for community engagement and WEB Ventures for economic inclusion.
