Jerita Simpson joined the Avondale Development Corporation in 2022 as the Quality of Life Project Manager.
Prior to joining ADC, Ms. Simpson served as Community Projects/Community Engagement Manager and Research Consultant for the Center for Closing the Health Gap where she managed the end to end program of Healthy Lifestyles programming. She restructured the Community Engagement Academy to include new curriculum topic with personal instruction on sustainability. She also led community engagement with 12 CMHA properties to educate and empower residents to take charge and advocate for their best quality of life, in addition to, expansion of brand identity and awareness.
Ms. Simpson is a member of the Hamilton County-Addictions Response Coalition and Treasurer of the Major Tyler Cycle Club.
Ms. Simpson earned her undergraduate at Ohio University and earned a master’s degree in Business Administration at the Keller Graduate School of Management. She received additional experience from Greater Cincinnati Foundation, Center for Clinical & Translational Science Center, Talbert House, The Community Builders and The Crossroads Center.
