Rosemary Oglesby-Henry has been serving on the Avondale Board of Trustees since 2021.
Ms. Oglesby-Henry’s goal for ADC is to ensure strategic goals are met and that decisions continue to be centered around our QOL plan.
Her three words to describe ADC? Bold, Community, Progress.
Her three words to describe Avondale? Home, Gem, Blossoming.
Her vision for Avondale in five years is to be a landmark community for minority and black businesses as well as allowing families to thrive.
Ms. Oglesby-Henry is a bridge-builder, nationally known Leadership Educator, and the founder and CEO of Rosemary's Babies Company, an impact organization committed to helping teen parents master the concepts of self-leadership to leave a legacy. The Cincinnati-based organization, which serves 200 families per year, the goal is to eradicate generational pregnancy and poverty by supporting families, educating communities, and advocating for policy/law changes that are biased and render teen parent families helpless.
Before founding Rosemary’s Babies Co, she was an adjunct instructor/professor at Mount St, Joseph University. She taught courses related to organizational leadership, ethical leadership, servant leadership & business principles.
Ms. Oglesby-Henry earned both a Bachelor’s Degree in Liberal Studies and a Master of Science, Organizational Leadership.
Ms. Oglesby-Henry’s is a Leadership Council Member & Health & Human Resources with the National Small Business Association and is a member of Cradle Cincinnati Policy Committee with Cincinnati Children’s Medical Center.
