Putting together our 2020 annual report gave the Avondale Development Corporation a chance to reflect and celebrate our many accomplishments during that very challenging year. Halfway through 2021, we’re seeing how those accomplishments set the stage for what is turning out to be an important year for our organization and our neighborhood.

More than anything, we continue to experience the growth of relationships, partnerships and collaboration. In this issue, you’ll read more about The Community Builders in our continuing series of funder spotlights. The update about Blair Lofts – a central part of the ADC housing strategy to ensure housing choices that respect and sustain a vibrant Avondale – is a testament how Avondale will need partners to continue its rebirth. Fairfield Homes, Kingsley + Co., the City of Cincinnati, Local Initiatives Support Corporation – Cincinnati, Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Medical Center, The Port and Uptown Consortium, Inc. all had a hand in bringing the project to fruition. And our effort to address childhood trauma in Avondale would not have been possible without Joining Forces for Children, Cincinnati Children’s, Cincinnati Police Department, The Avondale Branch Library, Cincinnati Public Schools, Artworks, LISC and Freedom Center.

ADC is proud to have earned the trust of these organizations, who are among the most recognizable in the region. We look forward to expanding the lists of partners and funders, and would love to count you among them!
